Music - Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

The Thom is back so I'm excited already, although the write-up makes it all sound a bit angsty.

World news - That's cold, man...

Burns was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was then transferred to a better hospital where doctors upgraded his condition to "alive".

The flight back home with the expedition leader is bound to be awkward.

Sexy sex - Some sort of sexy-themed park

Probably a good thing, the whole "no rides" situation (not sure about touching the erogenous zones though).

The Mew - On haiatus

Boys and girls (oh who am I kidding),

I feel that the time has come for me to put the Mew on the backburner for a while. It's been fun, but I simply don't have the necessary time-energy combo to produce the high quality product that so many of you have come to expect. The hiatus isn't final, but I cannot deliver anything regular until the ruddy exams are out of the way in the very least. Saying that, should a tasty media morsel be flung my way, I'll write it up of course.

Alright, my babies, be cool, be cool...

Politics - The United States of Whatever

Film - The summer blockbusters

Dunno why I get so excited about the summer blockbusters - it's definitely a guilty pleasure to devote a warm evening to a high-production-value piece of media brain-candy, all while wearing shorts.

Politics - Sticking it to da man

Yes, yes, the Daily Show covered this story already, but the Colbert roast of Bush can be seen on Google Video in its full glory (his speech starts at the 50:30 minute mark).
Update: C-SPAN asked YouTube to pull the videos down so they don't work anymore.

Daily Show - Hodgman sells out

The treason season continues (well perhaps his Jewish employer doesn't pay too well).
